The MyDurianKing (MDK) Orchard
The orchard is approximately 10 acres. It is planted with a variety of tropical fruits including mangosteen, rambutan, duku langsat and coconuts. However, the main crop is of course, DURIAN!
The MDK orchard is set in tranquil setting with rolling hills and fish pond. It will be a relaxing day out for friends and family; by experiencing the serene countryside environment. If you have decided to have a weekend break, you can always visit the beaches of Port Dickson, which is about half an hour drive from the MDK orchard.
The owner of the MDK orchard is Mr. Leong a.k.a Durian King. He has over 30 years of experience in durian plantation! His immense experience and knowledge in the subject will ensure that any durian that is sold is of the highest quality, as he has a reputation to upheld.
Quality
As some durian connoisseurs may have pointed out, durians from older tree is better than the younger ones. Some of the above durian trees are more than 20 years old, producing durian of the highest quality. More importantly, if you go to the MDK orchard, only the freshest durian will be served.
Generally speaking, this only comprises of durian that have fallen from the tree less than 12 hours ago, as compared to the ones that were sold around KL which may be a few days old. If you like, you can walk around the orchard to pick your own durians. Therefore, freshness is guaranteed and satisfaction warranted.
The Durian Variety
The variety included some of the premium grade durians such as Raja Kunyit (Mao Shan Wong), Thraka (Bamboo Leg) and Red Prawn. Some other famous but more affordable varieties include D24, D101,Tawa, D2, D78, D88, D79, D17.

Price ranges from between RM5 – 25 per kg (depends on the variety and availability of the durian).
